Mick Geggus (guitar)
Mick Geggus was born in the East End of London in 1961.
A lifelong lover of hard Rock, he was inspired by the likes of early Queen, Zeppelin, Deep Purple and others. When the Punk explosion happened in 1976 Mick was only too eager to take in the energy of the Pistols and the Clash and in 1978 he formed the Cockney Rejects with his Brother Jeff and bassist Vinny Riordan.
The band’s story is well documented and they remained a top notch touring unit completing several world tours before calling it quits in December 2023.
In the meantime Mick recorded and toured with the Anglo-Swedish Rock outfit The Crunch alongside Soren ‘Sulo’ Karlsson, Terry Chimes of the Clash and Dave Treganna of Sham 69. He also produced albums for bands such as the Secret Members and the East End Promises as well as writing the acclaimed Rock ‘N’ Roll book ‘Life After Lloyd’.
With the Punchdrunk Saints Mick feels he can slip his constraints and concentrate on the full throttle turbo charged Rock that has always been his calling.
